Happy Fall Y'all!

Pumpkins and candles and signs, oh my! I can't even begin to explain how much I love fall: the smell of it, the changing colors of leaves, the amazing temperatures, the boots and sweaters, the Thanksgiving holiday. The list of reasons could go on and on. Because of my love for all things Fall I always try to bring all the Fall feels to my home both inside and out. So, I'm sharing my top three go to ideas to welcome Autumn into my home.

1. All things Pumpkins and Pears: This is such an affordable way to decorate a home both inside and out. They can be found all over the place: Target, Hobby Lobby, Michael's, Etsy, Amazon...and all places sell them at great rates. The pumpkins and pears all around my home were anywhere from $3 to $15. Remember to always check back for sales. Fall decor gets replaced pretty quickly for Christmas decor so it goes on sale fast! Using decor such as pumpkins and pears bring an instant Fall feel. Consider using some that aren't the typical orange that you're used to. I go for orange, greens, yellows, and reds and browns. Also, Houndstooth printed pumpkins are a trend this year and while I didn't include it in my decor, I am obsessed with how cute it is. Keep your options open, shop around and you'll have a variety of pumpkins and pears in different colors, sizes, and textures in no time.

2. Fall signs of all kinds and pillows: I LOVE a good sign to set out.  I currently have one outside that reads "Hello Fall" and a few inside that read " Happy Fall Y'all," " Welcome Fall," and others that have words representing different aspects we love about this time of year. I purchased all signs at Hobby Lobby, Michaels and At Home. I recently scored one of them at Michael's marked 40% off! As for pillows, I find that they simply make me happy. The majority of my pillows were purchased at Kirkland's and I didn't spend over $15 on any pillow I purchased. Using pillows with different Fall sayings and colors make your home so inviting both inside and out! It gives you all the feels to pull up to your house and see Fall awaiting you!

3. Candles, candles, and more candles: Once you've decorated, it's time fill your home with scents to match the decor! I have some favorite scents I love: Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin and Sweater Weather from Bath & Body Works and Apple Cinnamon and Vanilla Brown Sugar from Kirkland's. Candles make your home feel warm and inviting. It's really that simple!

My love for Fall started quite some time ago. It's the season I married the man made just for me, the season thats brings beautiful colors and a time to admire God's amazing creations and the season that calls for s'mores around the fire pit. But above all, it's the season that brings us a holiday to really take time to remind ourselves to be thankful for how blessed we truly are. Speaking for myself, my attitude of gratitude can sometimes get lost in the hustle and bustle of day to day activities so I love having a time to reflect and give thanks for my family, my health, my career, and so much more. This Fall take a little time to reflect on your blessings and decorate your home while doing so! Trust me, you'll love walking into a home full of fall scents and beautiful decor.
